COP 27: UNICAL Prof Joins UN Climate Initiative

Professor Aniebiet Inyang Ntui has formally joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Climate Initiative, We Don’t Have Time as an Advisor Member. This was made know through a release on the Foundation’s Website.

Professor Ntui has been attending the 27th Conference of Parties (COP) on Climate Change in Sharm El-Sheikh alongside other international delegates as a Member of the United Nations’ Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Women Caucus Group.

Speculations has been growing that the Winner of the 2022 UK Global Award had fallen out of favor since she refused to endorse the Labor Party’s Peter Obi for the Nigerian Presidency as she failed to secure any appointment from the Government of the Arabian Republic of Egypt or any relevant organization ahead of the Conference.

So far at COP 27, the Nobel Prize Nominee has been leading discussions and negotiations in the various Edu-Tech Segments and Pavilions. During COP 26 in Glasgow, Professor Aniebiet played a significant role during the Edu-Tech segments of the Conference and even received an appointed from the United Kingdom Government as a Member of the COP 26-UK Universities Climate Network.
