In anticipation of the September 21, 2024 Edo State Governorship election, the Concerned Edo State Stakeholders for Good Governance, advocating for a free, fair, and credible election, has elaborated on its reasons for organizing an interactive event for all leading contenders. The virtual summit, scheduled for July 20, 2024, at 5 p.m., aims to ensure the election of the best candidate to govern the state.

The Group spoke on Monday July 1, 2024, through a statement signed by Comrade Western Iyamu, and made available to the media.

According to the group, the event which is tagged ‘The Edo State Diaspora Summit 2024’, and organized by a group made up of  Nigerians, particularly Edo State stakeholders in diaspora, shall provide a veritable platform where Edo citizens worldwide can question and explore the visions and plans of candidates.
