Babalola and T.B Joshua

Yoruba Nation is richly blessed with many great healer-prophets. However, just two of them – Joseph Ayo Babalola and Temitope Balogun Joshua – will be discussed below with my sole aim of revealing four similarities between them:

1. Both were of Yoruba extraction, came from humble backgrounds, began their various ministries in rural locations and later gained global recognition, as Ranker was said to have listed them among the world’s most famous prophets.

2. Both were exceptional examples of humility and selfless service. There was not a proud blood in their veins when carrying out their Mandates.

3. Both were Lovers of the Prayer Mountains. It is on record that both could spend many hours and even days on Prayer Mountains in search of God.

4. Both were credited with prophetic and healing abilities. Babalola resurrected a dead person in September 1930, and TB Joshua also performed numerous amazing healings. Their great anointing brought to both men a persecution called “Imprisonment”.
